Double Life Guarantee
Surface Engineering's Carbide Coating Guarantee applies to screws coated with XC1000 or XC1000 Ni to a coating thickness of .010" per side or .020" overall for screws over 2" diameter and .005" per side or .010" overall for screws under 2" diameter.
We guarantee that our coated feedscrew will, at least, double the life of the feedscrew you are currently using, with the exception of another Carbide Coated feedscrew. Comparisons must be made of identical feedscrews operating in similar applications. (Same dimension, length, design, etc..) Previous screw life must be determined in advance and supported with maintenance records indicating the date the screw was installed, number of hours in operation, and how much wear is considered "worn out". If our XC1000 or XC1000 Ni coating fail to meet the predetermined expectations, we will repair the screw or provide a pro-rata refund based on time in service.
We are only responsible for the coating price charged to the direct customer; i.e. Screw Manufacturer, Broker, or O.E.M., as we do not sell direct to end users.
For best results, we highly recommend installing our coated screws in a wear resistant barrel, preferably, a Carbide lined. Barrel must be within OEM tolerances at the time of installation of our Carbide Coated feedscrew.
Guarantee does not cover damages caused by abuse or improper handling of the feedscrews, only wear caused during normal processing will be covered by this warranty.
